Marilyn H Tack

Marilyn H. (Hutchins) Tack, 85 of Manchester, passed away at Maple Leaf Health Care Center on December 18, 2018 with her family by her side.

Born in Manchester on October 13, 1933, she was the daughter of Harry and Alice (Southmayd) Hutchins and was a resident of the City all her life. She was a longtime member of Faith Baptist Church, active on several committees, Woman's Union, Dorcas Circle, VBS and was a deaconess for several years. She also created lifelong memories baking with her grandchildren and made countless knitted baby and lap blankets over the years. She was known as Nanna to many loving family members and friends. She loved spending time with her family, especially her six grandchildren who she helped raise. She was predeceased by a daughter Susan in 1955, a son Eric in 1968 and a son, Allan Tack in 2013.

Family members include her loving husband of 65 years, George Tack; three sons, Glen Tack and his wife Carol, Gregg Tack and his wife Dale, and David Tack, Sr. and his wife Liz, and all of Manchester; six grandchildren, Amy, David Jr., Jon, Craig, Adam, and George; two great grandchildren, Emma and Rachel; and nephews, nieces, and cousins.

A memorial gathering will take place on Saturday December 29th at Faith Baptist Church, 53 Mammoth Rd, Manchester from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM with a memorial service to follow at 12:00 PM.
