Marilyn Louise Thing, 63, of 72 Marlette Avenue, Hooksett, died at her home on January 3, 2001. She was born in Boston, Ma., on September 16, 1937, the daughter of Nora (O'Callahan) Quinlan and the late Hervey Quinlan and resided in Pelham and Nashua before moving to Hooksett 15 years ago. She retired from Bell Atlantic with 10 years of service. Marilyn enjoyed watching game shows, was an avid bingo player and loved going to Foxwoods. Family members include her husband of 42 years, Raymond Thing of Hooksett, three sons, Michael Thing of Antrim, Brian Thing of Nashua and Sean Thing of South Carolina, her mother of Wakerfield, Ma., her two predeceased sons, Kevin Thing and Steven Thing, five grandchildren, a sister, Pat Annicario of Massachusetts, several nieces and nephews. SERVICES: Calling hours are at the Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, Saturday morning from 8:30 to 11 o'clock with the service in the funeral home chapel at 11 o'clock.
