Marilyn E. Vespa

Marilyn Elaine Vespa, 94, of Manchester, NH, passed away on March 24, 2022, at the Mount Carmel Nursing Center in Manchester, NH. She was the wife of the late Albert Vespa, with whom she shared 62 years of marriage.

Born on May 28, 1927, in Boston, MA, she is the daughter of the late of Rudie and Gladys Bauer. Raised and educated in the Boston area, Marilyn was a graduate of Jamacia Plain High School. Following graduation, she married her beloved husband, Albert. The young couple settled in Newton, Massachusetts to raise their dearest son, Wayne.

A dedicated wife and mother, Marilyn loved to cook and entertain for family and friends. She enjoyed crocheting, ceramics, and playing cards. Marilyn cherished time spent with her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who lovingly called her “Mema”.

She was predeceased by her parents, Rudie and Gladys Bauer, and her husband, Albert Vespa.

Marilyn is survived by her son, Wayne Vespa & his wife, Bernadette of Merrimack, NH; her grandchildren, Marial & Jim Drivas of Pleasant Valley, NY, Tiffany Griffin of Groveton, NH, John & Taylor Vespa-Mays of Miami, FL; her great-grandchildren; Diajana, Sotiro, Thayne.
