Marion D. (Demers) Bernard, 75, of 1160 Hooksett Rd., Hooksett, died at the Elliot Hospital. She was born in Salem, MA, the daughter of Emile and Leda (St. Pierre) Demers and had lived in Manchester for forty years prior to moving to Hooksett fourteen years ago. She worked for thirty ones years at Chicopee Mills until her retirement. She was a parishioner of St. Jean the Baptist Church while residing in Manchester and Holy Rosary Church while a Hooksett resident. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Family members include her husband of 58 years, Bertrand Bernard; two sons, Robert Bernard and Richard Bernard, both of Manchester; two daughters, Mrs. Ronald (Lorraine) Gagnon of Goffstown and Mrs. Paul (Diane) Roux of Auburn; twelve grandhcildren; eleven great-grandchildren; a brother, Leo Demers of Lowell, MA; a sister, Rita Denoyer of UT; and several; nephews, nieces and cousins. Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Avenue on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday morning at 10:00 in St. Jean the Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
