MARION I. (MORRIS) GOULD

LITTLETON, NH  Marion M. Gould, age 85, of 29 High Street, passed away at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center on Wednesday, October 31st.

Marion was born a daughter to Floyd A. and Alma G. (Royce) Morris on March 25, 1922,in Littleton, NH. She attended area schools.

Marion was married to Clarence Derby Gould and was a homemaker for most of her married life. She was always there for her children. She laced moccasins for years to help out while her children were in school. Marion loved visiting with her grandchildren and family gatherings on the Holidays. She especially loved seeing new family members (babies) when they arrived.

Marion was a woman that had to stay busy. In the summers she took care of her vegetable and flowers gardens, eventually having to give up her vegetable garden. In the winters she enjoyed sewing and crocheting when she couldnt get outside. In the last few years when the Senior Center opened, she enjoyed going there for lunch and visiting with her friends.

Marion is survived by three children, Clarence W. and Sandra Gould of Mesa, AZ; Robert Gould, and Janet Burgess, both of Littleton, NH; ten grandchildren and their spouses, Rob and Eileen Burgess-Robin of Snohomish, WA, John and Shelley MacKay of Bethlehem, NH; Cheryl Presley of Windham, ME, Michael and Melanie Alt of Gray, ME, Steven and Rebecca Burgess of Gray, ME, Warren and Kimberly Gould of Wolfeboro, NH, Christopher and Jennifer Gould of Littleton, NH, Kimberlee Gould of Mesa, AZ, John and Mary Gould of Lincoln, NH, Denise Gould of Leominster, MA; 13 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband in 1986, and two brothers, Robert and Edward.

SERVICES  A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, November 9th at 11:00 a.m. in the Glenwood Cemetery, with Rev. Lyn Winter officiating.
