Marion Jankauskas

Marion “Grammy” Jankauskas, 83, of Weare, NH, died peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Friday, February 23, 2024 at the Community Hospice House after declining health.

She was born May 14, 1940 in New York, NY, the daughter of the late Robert and Grace (McCoy) Durante. Prior to retirement, Marion was employed at the Union Leader. She loved music, dancing, reading, talking on the phone, gardening, traveling, sewing, her religious faith, with her greatest love and enjoyment spending time with her family. 

Marion is preceded in death by her husband, Gerard Jankauskas; her sister, Grace Wilhelm; and her brother, William Durante. Members of her family include children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many extended family. 

SERVICES: There are no calling hours. Interment will take place at a later date at the NH State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, NH.
