Marion M. (Collins) Lamy, 82, of Manchester, passed away on March 4, 2012 at Catholic Medical Center.
She was born in Coventry, VT on August 29, 1929, the daughter of Raymond and Emma (Besaw) Collins and had been a Manchester resident for over 50 years. She had worked in the printing department at Moore Business Forms for many years until her retirement. She was also a Notary Public and Justice of the Peace and enjoyed marrying couples. She loved to crochet, knit, dance and do word puzzles. She also loved her cat Patches and her pet turtle Myrtle. She will be dearly missed by her large extended family and many many friends. She was predeceased by a son, Stanley Hamilton and a daughter, Deborah Hrycuna.
Family members include her husband of 16 years, Raymond Lamy; a son, Robert Mason and his wife Karlene of Grafton; three daughters, Monica Hamilton of FL, Shirley Towne and her husband George of Manchester, and Brenda Warwick and her husband Jim of Deerfield; two step-daughters, Nancy Harding and her spouse Deborah Anderson of Bedford; and Angela Fischer and her husband David of CA; 17 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren; a brother, Raymond Collins of VT; a sister, Beverly Armstrong of RI; and nephews, nieces and cousins.
Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Avenue on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday morning at 10:00 in Sacred Heart Church. Committal Service will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
