Marion L. Paris

MARION L. PARIS BEDFORD, NH – Marion L. (Buxton) Paris, 78, died Sunday, September 28, 2008 at Ridgewood Center, in Bedford. She was born in Goffstown, NH, on January 7, 1930, the daughter of the late Roy and Irene (Hall) Buxton. She was a resident of Bedford for the past 5 years. Prior to this, she resided in Manchester for most of her life, except for 20 years in Dunbarton, while raising her family. Mrs. Paris was employed at GTE Sylvania, where she worked in quality control. She loved music, walking and reading. Mrs. Paris also liked playing scrabble and spending time with her family. Family members include; 1 son, Mark Paris, of St. Petersburg, FL; 2 daughters, Denise Delaney, of Manchester; Sharon Colby, of NH; 5 grandchildren, 2 brothers, Clifford Buxton, of MA; Louis Buxton, of Manchester; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Maurice Paris. SERVICES: A memorial gathering will be Wednesday, October 1, from 10:00 – 11:00 A.M. at Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover Street, corner of Union Street, in Manchester. A memorial service will follow in the funeral home at 11:00 A.M. The Reverend Douglas Rickard will officiate the service. Burial will take place at a later date in Dunbarton Cemetery, Dunbarton, NH. It has been suggested that those who wish may make memorial gifts to Alzheimer's Association, 1 Bedford Farms Drive, Bedford, NH 03110, in memory of Mrs. Paris.
