Marion Emroy Putnam

Marion Emroy Putnam, 93, of Littleton, died Monday, October 26, 2009. Marion was born the daughter of Arthur and Inda (Wing) Thaxter in Springfield, VT on October 12, 1916. She attended Durrrell Methodist Church in Bethlehem and formerly a member of Christs Church in Saxtons River, VT. Marion was a devoted mother and grandmother that enjoyed dining out and was always on the go. Marion is preceded in death by her great-granddaughter Erin Anderson and is survived by a daughter and her husband Rita and Norm MacLeod of Littleton, 5 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. A Graveside service will be held at the Maple Street Cemetery in Bethlehem at 11 am Saturday, October 31with Rev. Lynn Winter officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the North Country Hospice. Arrangements have been entrusted to Keller & Pillsbury Funeral Homes.
