Marion Roux

Marion (Robidas) Roux, 92, formerly of 84 Varney Street, died December 22, 2000 at Mt. Carmel Nursing Home. She was born in Canada on August 18, 1908, the daughter of Eugene and Ernestine (Robidas) Roux had been a Manchester resident for all of her life. She was the widow of Maurice Roux who died in 1975. She had worked for many years at various local textile mills. She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Church. She had been active at the West Side Senior Center. Family members include a son, Roger Roux of Manchester; a daughter, Claire Pierson of Murfreesboro, TN; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren; and several nephews, nieces and cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday morning at 11:00 AM in Sacred Heart Church. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
