MARJORIE MARY STONE

WHITEFIELD, NH  Marjorie M. Stone, 95, formerly of Bethlehem, passed away at the Morrison Nursing Home on January 19, 2005.

Marjorie was born a daughter to Levi and Alvena (Deparo) LaPete, on January 10, 1910 in Barton, Vermont. She attended schools and was raised in the Barton/Greensboro, Vermont area.

Marjorie was married to William A. Stone in the mid-1920s and they moved to Bethlehem in 1935. She was an active homemaker and devoted mother. Marjorie enjoyed handicraft work, gardening, camping and most outdoor activities. She was a Communicant of the Christ the King Church in Bethlehem for many years.

Surviving family members include three sons, Donald Stone, Wayne Stone, and Richard Stone, all of Bethlehem, NH; five daughters, Irene Ellis, Priscilla Locke of Easton, NH, Shirley Whitcomb of Dalton, NH, Diane Whitcomb of Bethlehem, NH, and Elizabeth Hubbard of Littleton, NH; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Her husband, two sons, three brothers, and two sisters predeceased her.

SERVICES  The family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon, January 23rd from 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Pillsbury Funeral Home, 101 Union Street, Littleton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, January 24th, at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Daniel J. Sinibaldi as Celebrant. Burial will be in the Maple Street Cemetery in the spring.
