Marjory Ann Gibeault

Marjory Ann (Birmingham) Gibeault, 55, of Goffstown, passed away at her residence on August 6, 2012 after a long period of declining health.

She was born in Manchester on July 5, 1957, the daughter of Morris and Rita (Pinsonneault) Birmingham and had been a Goffstown resident for the past 25 years. She attended grammar and high school in Manchester. As a teenager she volunteered as a "candy striper" at the Elliot Hospital where she developed her keen interest in nursing. She attended college in Concord and Manchester and received her bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of New Hampshire. She started her nursing career at the Elliot Hospital where she worked in the Intensive Care Unit. Later, at the Elliot, she and two other nurses pioneered the "Ask A Nurse" Program. She was currently employed by Infusion Solutions of Bedford where she was an important member of their team. Marjory's family are grateful for the compassion and patience they showed her throughout her period of declining health. She will be remembered as a gifted and loving caregiver who worked until the day she died. Her life was given to others. Marjory also volunteered her time as a school nurse with several area high schools. She loved animals and always ready to feed any stray pet or wildlife.

She leaves behind her daughter, Amanda Rose Gibeault, of Goffstown; her former husband, Maurice Gibeault of Goffstown; a large family of brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles; cousins and several former foster children. She also leaves her loving dog Hessie and her cat Reeses.

A memorial gathering will take place at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover St., on Saturday from 10 to 11 AM with a memorial service to follow at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Manchester Animal Shelter, 490 Dunbarton Rd., Manchester, NH 03102.
