Mark K. Bissonnette, 65 of Amherst, passed away on September 22, 2021, at St. Joseph Hospital, Nashua.

He was born in Manchester on January 12, 1956, the son of the late Norman and Maureen (Sullivan) Bissonnette. Mark was a graduate of St. Anselm College where he earned a degree in religious studies and economics. He was the manager of Manchester Redimix Concrete, his family’s long-time business. Mark was a World War II buff and enjoyed stamp collecting. He traveled extensively, enjoyed world history, and listening to Bruce Springsteen. He had a great sense of humor and had a strong belief in his catholic faith. Most of all, he will be remembered as a loving and caring dad and husband.

Family members include his wife, Svetlana “Lana” Bissonnette; a son, Matt Bissonnette of Amherst; two daughters, Lisa Bissonnette of Milford and Kayla Bissonnette of Amherst; a step-son, David Rurua of Amherst; a brother David Bissonnette of Rye; and a sister, Joan Bissonnette of North Hampton.

Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Avenue, Manchester on Wednesday from 4 to 6 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Anselm Abby on Thursday morning at 10 AM. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery in the family lot.
