Mark P. Couturier, 42, of 6 Benjamin Street, died at the Elliot Hospital on October 13, 2007. He was born in Manchester on December 23, 1964, the son of Elaine (Martineau) Couturier of Manchester and George N. Couturier of Hill, and had been a lifelong resident of the city. In His Life: He owned and operated MPC Structures and was a well-known and respected businessman for 25 years. His greatest love was the time he spent with his beloved wife and beautiful daughters doing his favorite things camping, traveling, fly fishing and snowmobiling. He was a generous person and gave to many charities, including the Purple Heart Association. Family members, in addition to his parents include his wife of 13 years, Lise (Berube) Couturier; two daughters, Natalie Couturier and Danielle Couturier, both of Manchester; his twin brother whom he worked with, David N. Couturier of Manchester; his sister, Lisa Solange Couturier of Manchester; his mother-in-law, Lea Berube, several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts and cousins; his Godchildren, Michael Montembeault and Marianelle (Martineau) Duff; and many life-long friends, especially Jeff and Dina Montembeault. Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street on Wednesday from 4 to 7 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday morning at 10:00 in St. Anthony Church. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family, the proceeds of which will be used for trust fund to be established in the names of his daughters.
