Mark Louis Lockwood was a devoted husband, loving father, caring son, steadfast brother, and faithful friend. He was born to Ronald and Helen Lockwood on August 24th, 1959 in Utica, NY. Mark shared 26 beautiful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Rhonda (Arnold) Lockwood and was a strong tree with deep roots for his family. He was called Home to be with the Lord on Good Friday, April 7th, 2023.
Mark was raised in Oriskany, NY, where he graduated from Oriskany Central School. Upon graduation he moved to New Hampshire and earned his degree in digital electronics. Mark entered the manufacturing world through Data Products and after, progressed onto Bose Corporation, Granite State Manufacturing, and most recently GTI Spindle/B&D Industrial.
Mark was a servant hearted leader whose goal in life was to help others not only in his family but in the workplace. His passion for cooking and sharing good food with family and friends is a testament to his love and it lives on through the lives of his children. Music always played an important role in Mark’s life and was often the means he expressed his heart. He enjoyed spending time with his friends on the golf course, camping by the lake, and fishing with his son and grandson. Mark had a special love for his family, especially his “Angel,” Rhonda, who made him his best self. Mark will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. He will be remembered for his love, kindness, servant leadership, jolly spirit, and dedication to God and family.
Mark is survived by his treasured wife Rhonda Lockwood, his mother Helen Lockwood, his daughters, Amber Lockwood, Corie McLaughlin and her husband Bryan, his son Colin Lockwood, his daughter Kayla Doron and her husband Brian, his sister Lori True, his brother Ronald "Gus" Lockwood Jr. and his wife Tracy, his sister Heidi Morse and her husband Greg, his brother Aaron Lockwood and partner Clarisse Domingo, and his grandchildren, Madison, Suvi, William, and Mason. He is also survived by his sister-in-law Karen Lockwood as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. Mark was predeceased by his father, Ronald Lockwood, and his eldest brother Michael Lockwood.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2023, from 3-5PM followed by a celebration of life service and reception at One Church, 1308 Wellington Road, Manchester, NH.
