Mark L Muir, a 31 year Postal Service worker and active sportsman, of Manchester, NH died on July 3, 2026 after a period of declining health. He had just recently commenced his retirement.

Mark is best known as an in house mail handler who was enjoyed by his co-workers. He also was close to his family and enjoyed NH Casinos. He was proud to have been a winner of the Winnipesauke Salmon Derby.

Mark is survived by his ailing mother Marilyn Muir and the following brothers; Hugh H. Muir, Stephen F. Muir, and John A. Muir. Mark was pre-deceased by his dad, Hugh E. Muir, also a longtime Postal Service worker best known as an active sportsman. He was also predeceased by his brother Gordon Muir and his sister Alison Muir.

A memorial gathering will be held at Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH, on Thursday, July 16, 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, followed by a celebration of life ceremony.
