Mark Joseph O'Brien, 50, of Kansas City, Missouri, and recently in the New Hampshire area, died Tuesday, May 21, 2002, at the Concord Hospital after a long illness complicated by a brain tumor. He was born in Troy, New York on April 27, 1952, the son of Robert C. And Anne (Quillinan) O'Brien. He lived in Clifton Park, New York for several years before moving to Kansas City where he was employed 16 years by the SSI Mobley Chemical Corp., as a Marketing Manager. Mark was educated in Clifton Park Schools and attended the Ottowa University in Kansas City, Missouri. He was a communicant of Holy Trinity in Weston, Missouri. He was a long time member of the Rotary Club, a loving father and enjoyed golf and skiing. He was extremely active in charitable events connected with the Leukemia Society of America. Family members in a daughter Katherine Anne O'Brien, a youth minister in Littleton, Colorado, a son, John Slattery O'Brien,a student at Fransciscan Univerty in Steubenville, Ohio, his parents of Englewood, Florida, a brother Michael William O'Brien of Merrimack, NH, a sister, Mary Ellen O'Brien Kramer of Manchester, his predeceased brothers David O'Brien of Telluride, Colorado and Robert C. O'Brien, Jr. of Clifton Park, New York, several uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. SERVICES: There will be no calling hours. Relatives and friends are welcomed to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Saturday morning, May 25th at 11 o'clock in Ste. Marie Church, Manchester, NH.
