Mark D. Woods, 68, of Hooksett NH passed away Nov. 5, 2021.
Mark was born in Franklin, NH Sep 8, 1953, to Irving R. and Evelyn F. (Rayno) Woods.
Most of his life he worked in the paving and excavating business. He owned M W Trucking and M W Grade Service before signing on with Advanced Excavating and Paving in Suncook, NH 16 years ago, recently as an estimator.
He will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and easy-going personality. He enjoyed his home, family, friends and spoiling many cats (including strays). He loved listening to classic country music at his garage workbench watching the birds and other critters, often with the door open inviting anyone in for a chat. He enjoyed antique cars and showing his Model A hot rod.
Mark has a large extended family of very close friends, many lifelong. He was a member of the Men’s Auxiliary in the VFW and a life member of the Franklin Elks.
He will be dearly missed by his wife and best friend of 39 years Cathy Woods (Janosz) of Hooksett; stepdaughter Tara Janosz, her companion Richard Fuller of Colorado; siblings: Alan Woods and his wife Barbara of Franklin, Eric Woods, Leslie Dunn and her husband James of Madbury, Linda Bognolo of Florida, several nieces, nephews and cousins, and many very close friends.
