Marlene Marie (Miller) Surdam, 88, passed away on September 28, 2026, at her home in Merrimack, NH, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 25, 1938, in Biddeford, ME, the daughter of Wallace and Rita (LeClaire) Miller. She was the wife of Dennis Surdam, and they had married on March 14, 1970. 

Marlene enjoyed playing bingo. You could also always find her piecing together puzzles. She loved to watch the beautiful birds that would fly by, but most of all, she loved spending time with her family. 

She is predeceased by her daughter, Kaelene Pear'e, and her stepdaughter, Cheryl Surdam. 

Marlene is survived by her daughters Jill and her husband Daniel Tesoro, Carleen Garlach and Raelene Hartfield; son Mark and his wife Donna Schofield; son Randy and his wife Rene Schofield; son Dale and his wife Marie Schofield; stepsons Michael Surdam and Dennis Surdam, Jr.; and 22 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great grandchildren. 

Assisting the family with arrangements is Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Nashua. There will be a Cemetery Committal Service on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at 1 p.m. at Woodlawn Cemetery in Nashua, NH. The family invites all to join them in honoring Marlene's memory.
