Martha A. Dubois, 65, of Pembroke died Sunday Dec. 7, 2008 in Amherst. She was born in Arlington, MA on September 8, 1943 the daughter of the late Earl and Dorothy Richardson. She graduated from Lexington High School in Lexington, MA. She was a resident of Pembroke for the past couple of years, previously she lived in Merrimack. Martha worked for Community Action in Pembroke. Prior she had worked for the National Guild of Hypnotist for 15 years. She was on the Merrimack Fire Rescue Auxiliary for several years. Martha was known for helping others and always making people smile with her straight forward personality. She enjoyed ceramics, shopping and had an eye for decorating. Her great joy was her grandchildren, which she enjoyed tremendously. She is survived by her husband of 14 years, Willard Dubois of Pembroke; son, James Harpin of Okinawa, Japan; 3 daughters, Pamela Harpin of Manchester, Sharon Geelen of Goldsboro, NC and Beth Ann Fields of Milford; 12 grandchildren, 2 sisters, Marion Killam of Bedford, MA and Barbara McCormick of Billerica, MA; brother, Skipper Richardson and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In Her Life: She is survived be her 12 beloved grandchildren, Kenneth Karaian, Zachary Harpin, Korey Roche, Krysten Karaian, Arissa Harpin, Kane Geelen, Kaden Geelen, Erika Harpin, Cyan Fields-Johnson, Cyrus Johnson, Rina Harpin and Jett Johnson. Her Memorial Gathering will be held at the Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover St, Manchester on Friday from 7:00 to 8:30PM with her Service to follow at 8:30PM in the funeral home.
