Mary C. Adams

Mary C. Adams, 63, of Albany Township, Maine, passed away on October 20, 2021.

Mary was born on January 6, 1958, to Francis and Theresa (Dion) McDonnell in Dorchester, Massachusetts. She was a graduate of Northeast Metropolitan Regional Vocational High School.

Mary was an avid lover of the outdoors. She truly felt at peace in nature and could often be found hiking in the mountains, gardening at her cozy cabin, kayaking on beautiful lakes or relaxing by the seacoast. She also loved exploring and traveling with her soulmate, Mick.
Throughout her life Mary was known for her delicious cooking and baking. This culinary love eventually led her to one of her biggest accomplishments, opening the Black Bear Bakery and Café.

Mary’s greatest joy was her family. Her loving heart, kind spirit and generosity will be deeply missed.

Mary is survived by her partner Michael “Mick” Loupis; her two daughters, Monique Adams and Ashley Adams-Margeson and her husband Glenn; her son, Lucas Adams; her sister, Diane Remick and her husband Walter; brothers, William McDonnell and James McDonnell; nieces, Desiree Delano and Adreanna Luongo, and great niece Ava Luongo; her former husband William C. Adams; and many more beloved family members. She is predeceased by her parents and brother Francis “Frank” McDonnell, Jr.

A Celebration of Mary’s Life will take place on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at noon at the Frontenac Lodge in Plymouth, NH.
