Mary-Ann Jackson

March 3, 1967 — January 1, 2024

Gilmanton Iron Works, NH

Mary-Ann Osborne Jackson, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully at her home in Gilmanton IW, NH on January 1st, 2024. Her courageous battle with cancer came to an end, leaving behind a legacy of love, compassion, and unwavering faith in Jesus Christ.

Born to John and Wanda Osborne in Brooklyn NY on March 3rd, 1967, Mary and her family moved to Contoocook NH in 1971 and called it Home. As an adult, she met and married the love of her life Steve Jackson in June of 1991, and they went on to build a beautiful family. Having an iron clad work ethic, she would leave an indelible mark through her remarkable career in real estate. With a passion for selling houses, she dedicated over 30 years to the industry, spending more than two decades at Keeler Family Realtors before founding her successful brokerage - American Way Realtors. Her commitment and hard work made her a respected figure in New Hampshire’s real estate community.

Mary's faith in Jesus Christ was the cornerstone of her life. Unshaken by her diagnosis, she said- “The Lord knows the number of my days and I’m trusting him.” Her dedication to serving in Children's Ministries at Hope in Christ church reflected her selfless nature, always putting others ahead of herself. She was deeply devoted to her loving husband, Steve Jackson, and her adoration for her family knew no bounds. Her love and care extended to all children, but it was her grandchildren who held a special place in her heart.

Mary found joy in the simple pleasures of life. Whether it was the calming presence of the ocean, the warmth of the beach, or the cherished family trips to their beach house on Oak Island in North Carolina, she treasured every moment. Mary was an avid reader. With weekly trips to the Gilmanton Library, she was known by those close to her for her ability to finish several novels per week. Of all things she cherished in life, her family stood head and shoulders over the rest. She loved her family fiercely and would not hesitate to give the shirt off her back. She always made a point to gather with family as often as she could, whether hosting or traveling to see those she loved. Her passion for gardening, creating countless beautiful quilts with her mother for family and friends, and showering her grandchildren with love brought immense happiness to her life.

Mary will be sorely missed by her beloved husband, Steve Jackson, her devoted children Joshua, Jedediah and his wife Jessica, Joseph and his wife Jennifer, Emily and her husband Joseph, Natalie and her husband Charlie, her cherished grandchildren Joshua, Ava, Levi, Ivy, Emma, Andrew, and Leo, as well as her sisters Ellen Cohoe and her husband Andrew, Cathy Gram and her husband David, her brother John Osborne and his wife Jenny, and their families. She was predeceased by her parents, John James Osborne and Wanda Lou Osborne (Cummiford).

A celebration of Mary's life will be held at Hope in Christ church, 153 Main Street in Chichester, on Saturday, January 6th at 4 pm, where family, and friends will come together to honor and remember the beautiful life she lived. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hope In Christ church food pantry online at https://hicnh.churchcenter.com/giving/to/undercover-pantry

Mary's legacy of love, faith, and selflessness will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to have known her. She will be dearly missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
