Mary Jane (Dolan) Beaver passed away unexpectedly on July 5, 2021 at Atrium Pineville Hospital in Charlotte, N.C. surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 20,1937 to Jeremiah J. and Margaret A. (Keefe) Dolan. She married the love of her life, best friend and high school sweetheart, Paul Beaver and they spent 62 years full of love, happiness and adventure.
Mary (Jane) was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, who brought joy to all who crossed her path. Jane always found great pleasure in visiting with her children, David, John, Ann and Paula, eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren any time she had the opportunity. They always brought a smile to her face that would light up a room whenever she was with them.
Throughout their lives Jane lived with her husband Paul in various states along the east coast, and spent their last 20 plus years as seasonal residents of Tropical Palms in Punta Gorda, FL and Rose Hill in Bedford, NH. Along her journey Jane made many special and lasting friendships which she nurtured and cherished throughout the years.
The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Jane. She and her late husband, Paul, enjoyed playing golf and traveling, and were especially fond of Caribbean cruises. She had a great passion for reading and enjoyed her time as a volunteer at the Bedford Public Library. She loved spending time with her new friends in her Catholic Community Club Rosary meetings, Bible Study Group and Book Lover's Club in South Carolina, where she felt a great sense of community.
Jane is survived by her children David Beaver and wife Lynn; John Beaver and wife Helen; Paula Greer and husband Ted; and Ann Philpot and husband Greg; grandchildren Timothy Beaver and wife Jaqueline; Jamie Beaver and wife Sarah; Stefanie Beaver and fiancé Ambrose Kizza; Caroline Greer; Patrick Greer; Carol Ann Banks and husband Terrance; Megan Driscoll; and Kellie Driscoll; great-grandchildren Kyndal, Kameron, and Kennedy Banks; as well as several cousins, nieces, and nephews. In addition to her parents, Jane was predeceased by her husband, Paul Beaver and siblings, Elizabeth A. (Dolan) Looney and Jeremiah J. "Jerry" Dolan.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 12, 2021 from 4-7 PM at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 13th, 11:00 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Seton Church, 190 Meetinghouse Road, Bedford, NH. All May Meet at Church. She will be laid to rest with her husband, at the New Hampshire State Veteran's Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen, NH. Family and friends are invited to attend.
Her family would like to thank the lovely doctors and nurses at Atrium Pineville ED and CVICU for their incredible care.
