Mary Harrison Bunker, 89, died Sunday, Feb. 7, 2010, at Havenwood-Heritage Heights in Concord. She was the wife of the late Andrew L. Bunker, Sr. who died in 1987. Born in Concord, she was the daughter of John T. Harrison and Agnes (Hardiman) Harrison. Mary was a 1936 graduate of Saint John�s High School and attended Concord Commercial College. She proudly served her country during WW II in the Women�s Army Corps with the 8th Air Force Headquarters in High Wycombe, England. Her life was dedicated to her family and to many community organizations. While her children were young, she served as both a Boy Scout den mother and Girl Scout leader. She volunteered for many years with the Concord Hospital Auxiliary, Canterbury Shaker Village, and the Havenwood Auxiliary. Known for her knitting and crocheting handiwork, she was a member of the League of New Hampshire craftsmen. As a life long member of St. Peter�s church, she gave generously of her time and talents to the church community. She is survived by her sons John Bunker of Stratham, Andrew Bunker, Jr. of Laconia, Paul Bunker of Littleton, CO; her daughter, Mary Bunker Watson of Pensacola, FL; her sisters Ann Carroll, Jean Keegan, Louise Skinner and Jane Knowlton; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother John T. Harrison and her granddaughter April Dawn Bunker. There are no calling hours. A memorial mass will be held on Friday, February 12, 2010 at 11am at St. Peter�s Church in Concord. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Havenwood-Heritage Heights Resident Support Fund, 33 Christian Ave., Concord 03301.
