MARY KEARNEY MANCHESTER, NH – Mary (Gonet) Kearney, 91, died Tuesday, March 6, 2007 at Elliot Hospital in Manchester. She was born in Manchester, NH, on September 10, 1915, the daughter of the late Anthony and Ludowika (Bielawa) Gonet. She was a lifelong resident of Manchester. Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Kearney was employed at Acadia Heel Company, and other factories throughout the city. She and her first husband owned and operated Ray’s Market on South Hall Street for many years. She was an avid Red Sox fan. IN HER LIFE: Members of her family include nephews Joseph Radwan, of Manchester; Robert Radwan and his wife, Ann, of Hampton, NH; and Albert Lamarche, of Auburn, NH. She was predeceased by her first husband, Real Demers, and her second husband, Philip Kearney. A memorial reception will be Monday, March 12, from 10 – 11 A.M. at Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover Street, in Manchester. A Memorial Mass will follow at 11 AM in St. Hedwig Church, 147 Walnut Street, in Manchester. It has been suggested that those who wish may make memorial gifts to The Alzheimer’s Association of NH, 10 Ferry Street, Concord, NH 03301, in memory of Mrs. Kearney.
