Mary S. "Molly" Mitchell, 82, of 762 South Mammoth Road, Manchester, NH, died May 11, 2003 at the Elliot Hospital. She was born in Scotland on January 13, 1921, the daughter of John and Mary (Kennedy) Sharp and had been a Manchester resident since 2003. Prior to that, she lived most of her life in Silver Spring, MD. She had been employed as the assistant director of medical records for Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring for over 15 years until her retirement. She had been an active member of the TBPA British Women's Organization. She also served in the British Army during World War II. She enjoyed spending time with her family at their summer cottage in Moultonboro on Lake Winnepsaukee. She was the widow of William Mitchell Jr who died in 1992. Family members include her son, William Mitchell of Atlanta, GA; a daughter, Mary Hansen of Manchester, NH; three grandchildren; a brother, Robert Sharp and a sister, Elizabeth Blair, both of Scotland and several nephews, nieces and cousins. A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 2 PM in the Marvin Memorial United Methodist Church in Silver Spring, MD.
