Mary (Francisco) Mourtgos, 90, passed away from congestive heart failure on June 15, 2007 in Sandy, UT. She was born in Manchester, NH on April 9, 1917 to Evangelos and Panagiota (Leontaritou) Francisco. Evangelos died early in Marys life and Demetrios Voliotes, her stepfather, is the father who raised her. Mary was a lifelong resident of Bedford and Manchester, NH. She was predeceased by her husband Thomas Mourtgos who died in 1998. She held many jobs throughout her life but the career that she enjoyed most was that of Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. Later in life both she and her husband Tom served as Volunteer Foster Grandparents with the Crotched Mountain Foster Grandparent Program. In Her Life -She leaves behind her son John (Gretchen) Mourtgos , a brother: William (Carol) Voliotes; four grandchildren: Erik (Shelley) Mourtgos, Shane (Laura) Mourtgos, Scott (Brooke) Mourtgos and Beth (Ryan) Taylor; four great-grandchildren: Katie, Lauren, Joshua and Nathan; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers George and Timothy Francisco. Calling hours are Wednesday 6-8 PM with a Trisagion Service at 7:00 PM at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover St., corner of Union St. in Manchester. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 10:00 AM at St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Manchester. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in Manchester.
