Mary J. Ricker passed away at the Country Village Nursing home on November 19, 2023 after a period of declining health.
Mary was born on March 25, 1938, to parents Jesse Wright and Phyllis (Rogers) Wright. For 45 years she was the loving wife of the late Otis Ricker who passed away in 2004. Together they raised 7 children.
Mary was known as a devoted homemaker whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of all who knew her. In her free time, Mary loved capturing the grace and beauty of horses through her drawings which she shared with her children. Mary enjoyed spending time at the Littleton Senior Center where she formed friendships.
She is predeceased by her husband, Otis Ricker, and four grandchildren: Nicholas Patten, Don Simpson Jr., and Katarina and Katrina Perez.
She is survived by her children, Carol A. Ricker, Cynthia L. Graham, Kenneth D. Ricker, Jessica M. Ricker, Cathy A. Simpson, Diana Ricker, and Sharon Ricker-Perez. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and multiple great-grandchildren.
Mary’s legacy will live on in the hearts of those she touched, and the memory of her love, creativity, and generosity will forever be cherished by her family and friends.
The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff of the Country Village Center for the great care provided to Mary over the last several years.
Services for Mary will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.
