MARY L. SULLIVAN
BROCKTON, MA Mary L. Sullivan, age 47, formerly of Fall River, died suddenly as a result of a hiking accident on Cannon Mountain on October 5, 2005.
Mary was born on September 28, 1958, a daughter to Frank and Teresa (Ward) Sullivan in Fall River, MA. She was a graduate of Bishop Stang High School in Dartmouth, U. Mass Amherst, and Rhode Island College.
Mary was a Clinical Social Worker at New England Sinai Hospital, Charlton Memorial Hospital, and Bristol Elder Services.
Marys newest and greatest pleasure was sitting next to the babbling brook that runs through the rear of the yard at their home in Thornton, NH, enjoying the peace, tranquility and music of the tumbling water.
Mary is survived by her beloved husband, Alan Petitti and stepson, Spencer Petitti of Brockton, MA; two brothers, Frank (Sully) and Sue Sullivan of South Dartmouth, MA, Tom and Martha Sullivan of Fall River, MA; her stepmother, Anne Sullivan of Bartow, FL; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
SERVICES -- A Mass of Christian Burial was held in Brockton, MA.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the South Eastern Mass Hospice Outreach, 503 Bedford St., Fall River, MA and MSPCA Natural Disaster Relief Fund, 350 South Huntington Ave., Boston, MA 02130.
