Mary M. (Burke) Vetromile, 94, of Bedford, died January 6, 2005 at Catholic Medical Center. She was born in Louisburg, PEI, Canada on July 11, 1910, the daughter of Patrick W. and Elizabeth (ONeil) Burke and resided in Candia for over 40 years before moving to Bedford three years ago. She grew up in Everett, MA and attended Everett schools and raised her family in Stoneham, MA prior to moving to New Hampshire. She was a member of the Raymond Seniors, Chorale and Luncheon Groups. While in Stoneham, she was active in the Catholic Womens Club and the South School Council. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was the widow of Robert Vetromile who died in 1984. Family members include two sons, Robert W. Vetromile of Barrington, RI and Stratton, VT and Richard P. Vetromile of New York, NY; a daughter, Mrs. Anthony (Mary) Juliano of Bedford; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren; and many nephews, nieces and cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday morning at 11:00 in St. Elizabeth Seton Church. Burial will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden, MA. Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowres, donations may be made to a charity of ones choice.
