Maryann Bennet

Maryann (Puglisi) Bennet, 62, of Manchester, passed away peacefully at home on August 29, 2020 surrounded by her beloved family. She was a true angel long before this, living a life caring for her close family and friends.

She was born in Lawrence, MA on July 26, 1958, the daughter of Salvatore and Lucille (Stramaglia) Puglisi. She spent 44 years with the love of her life, Jeffrey Bennet. Together they raised four beautiful children that turned Maryann into the amazing homemaker and matriarch she will be remembered as. Her homemade confections will be greatly missed; nobodies whoopie pies will ever compare. We will long for her lasagna layered in homemade sauce but will celebrate with Fisichelli's rum cake when we miss her most. May you rest among the Saints, we know you are in good company.

Family members include her husband, Jeffrey Bennet; three sons, Joshua Bennet and his wife Raquel, Matthew Bennet and his wife Melinda, and Jacob Bennet,; her daughter Ashleigh Bennet all of Manchester; three grandchildren, Ella May, Jenalyn, and Johanna; her mother in law whom considered her a daughter, Jacqueline Mooney of Largo, FL; two brothers, Angelo Puglisi of Manchester and Geno Puglisi of Lawrence; and nephews, nieces, cousins, and many friends.

A memorial gathering will take place at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover St, Manchester, on Thursday from 4 to 6 with a memorial service to follow in the funeral home chapel at 6. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the VNA of Manchester and Southern NH at https://www.manchestervna.org/give-a-gift.To view an Online Tribute, send condolences to the family, or for more information, visit www.phaneuf.net.
