Maryanne (Hartung) Kenerley, 63, of Manchester passed away at the Elliot Hospital on July 1, 2023.
She was born in Boston MA, the daughter of the late Edward and Anne (Doiron) Hartung of South Boston & Burlington, Ma. Maryanne grew up with 3 older brothers, but always managed to hold her own. She loved to ice skate until she fell on the ice and broke her femur. Maryanne worked in retail for many years, and was very social and comfortable chatting with everyone she met. The family always had a lot of pets, and she developed a deep love for animals. She especially loved Mimi, a toy poodle and a Siamese cat named Brandy. Maryanne doted on her many beloved cats over the years, and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was quite witty and always had an eye for a good bargain.
Family members include her husband of 32 years, Willis Kenerley; a son Eric Kenerley and his wife Karen of Norwich, CT; a daughter, Shannon St. Don of Manchester; 2 grandchildren, Josey Kenerley and Camille St. Don; 3 brothers, Edward (Butchie) Hartung, Robert Hartung and his wife Patricia of Burlington MA, James Hartung and his wife Ann Marie of Chelmsford MA, and Theresa Bernier of Rochester NH; 4 nephews Robb, Cole and his wife Leah, Matt Hartung and Kalib Bernier; 3 nieces, Stephanie Chisholm and her husband Jeff, Lauren Hartung and Kourtney Gamester; as well as great nephews and niece, Aiden Hartung, Jacob Chisholm, Kiera and Jameson Gamester.
A memorial gathering will take place at Phaneuf Funeral Home and Crematorium, 243 Hanover St., Manchester on Monday, July 10th from 5 to 6 PM with a memorial service to follow in the funeral home at 6 PM.
