BOSCAWEN – Maureen M. Jackson, 67, beloved wife, mother and friend died Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at CRVNA Hospice House surrounded by family after a courageous battle with melanoma cancer.
Maureen was born October 8, 1943 in Methuen, Mass., the daughter of Peter and Lorraine Bergeron. She was one of seven children; two brothers; James and Thomas, four sisters; Madeline, Denise, Julie and Nadine.
A Real Estate Broker/Agent ; owning Jackson's Old Hickory Real Estate; OHRV Safety Instructor for NH Fish and Game Department; Maureen was also on the Zoning Board for the Town of Boscawen and served as Zoning Officer for a short time. She was also a member of various snowmobile clubs; participated in a variety of charities, fundraisers and community activities.
Maureen was a Boscawen resident. She enjoyed many activities including; snowmobiling; flower arranging; spending time with her family, puttering in her yard and caring for her much loved dog, Cinda.
Maureen was the kind of person who took care of everyone by seeing to it that all were comforted however she could. We will all remember her love, constant smile and giving nature.
She was predeceased by her husband, Dale T. Jackson, March 25, 2011. She is survived by her children, Jerry Poulin and wife, Lisa, of Boscawen, Lynda Poulin of Tustin, CA, David Poulin and wife, Karen, of Concord, Christopher Jackson and Wendy Buco of Salem, Ronald Jackson of Las Vegas, Nev., Jeffrey Jackson of Florida, Gayle Jackson of Salisbury, Mass., Susan Luccisano and husband James of Methuen, Mass., Cathy Jackson of Salisbury, Mass; and a very large extended family with numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A memorial gathering will be Saturday, May 28, 2011, from 3:00pm to 5:00pm with a celebration of life at 5:00pm in the Phaneuf Funeral Home, 172 King Street, Boscawen 03303.
