Maureen MacDonald

Maureen Eleanor (Mealey) MacDonald passed away on Thursday, December 7, 2023 at Harris Hill Center in Concord, NH. Born on April 5, 1943, Maureen was the daughter of the late Arthur and Phyllis (Martin) Mealey.

Maureen spent her childhood in Lowell, MA. She attended Sacred Heart School before becoming a student at Lowell High School where she was a Carney Medalist and Major in LHS Girls Officers. After high school, Maureen worked at Union National Bank where she met her first husband, Peter Eagan. Maureen and Peter raised their three children in Holliston, MA. Maureen worked for a number of small businesses in the Framingham area as office manager, bookkeeper, and systems analyst. She earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration from Framingham State University.

Maureen enjoyed trips to the ocean, especially Ogunquit, ME, gardening, antique auctions, and time with her dogs. She is predeceased by her husband of 17 years, Steven MacDonald. She is survived by her three children, Kathleen (Eagan) White, Matthew Eagan, and Julianne Eagan, as well as eight grandchildren. She is also survived by two stepchildren and three step grandchildren.

No formal services will be held at this time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital,  501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
