Maureen V. (Gallagher) Poehlman, 93, of Bedford, NH, died on Wednesday, January 14, 2026. She was born on May 5, 1932 to Francis L. and Elizabeth (Helmich) Gallagher. She graduated from Manchester West High School in 1950 and lived in Bedford, NH for 71 years.

Maureen held the position of Vice President and office manager of Fan Specialists of NH., Inc., with her husband. She and her husband built and maintained a winter home on the island of Eleuthera, Bahamas, residing there during the winter months for twenty-five years from 1982-2007.

She enjoyed family gatherings, reading, playing piano, painting greeting cards, and spending days at many beaches.

Family members include her five children, a son, Robert E. Poehlman Jr. of Moultonborough, NH, daughters Cathy L. Worthen of Merrimack, NH, Cheryl A. Dupuis of Canterbury, NH, Deborah J. Gosselin of Bedford, NH, and Ginger S. Mooney of Manchester, NH; eleven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, three nephews, a sister, Gail Longchamps of Davenport, FL, and her two lifelong best friends, Kay Bayko and Rachel Hoblin.

Maureen was predeceased by Robert E. Poehlman Sr., her husband, best friend, and love of her life for 68 years. She was also predeceased by her brother, Joseph R. Gallagher, and her sister, Virginia Gallagher.

Services will be held privately. Maureen will be laid to rest with her husband at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, NH. A Celebration of Life will be held in the spring on a date to be announced.
