Maurice R. Brunelle, 99, of Tilton, NH, passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at the New Hampshire Veterans Home in Tilton, NH.

Maurice was born on November 13, 1926, in Manchester, NH, the son of the late Alphonse and Cecile Brunelle.

He proudly served his country as a United States Army Veteran during World War II, serving with the 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment, Headquarters, 1st Battalion.

Following his military service, Maurice built a long and successful career as a chiropractor. He was self-employed and practiced chiropractic care for more than 40 years before his retirement.

As a young man, Moe loved to box and was a longtime member of the YMCA in Manchester, where he enjoyed staying active and being part of the community. He carried that active spirit throughout his life.

Members of his family include his son, Erick Brunelle of Portsmouth, NH; daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Brunelle; and two granddaughters, Greta and Ava Brunelle.

Moe will be remembered by his family and friends for his dedication to his country, his profession, and, most importantly, his family. His long life was one of service, hard work, and commitment to those he loved.

SERVICES: A graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 20, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, 110 D.W. Highway, Boscawen, NH.
