Maurice G. Caza (Moe) 93, of Manchester passed away on Wed. Oct. 17, 2018 at the Hillsborough County Nursing Home. Moe was born in St. Valaire, Canada in 1925 and the son of Henry and Maria (Champagne) Caza. He has one surviving brother, Lucien Caza of Manchester. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 64 years, Theresa (Halle) Caza.
Moe has two daughters, Cheryl Caza- Tobey and her husband Milton of Henderson, Tn., Nancy Shrull and her husband Roland of Windham, NH, and three sons, Steven and his wife Leslie of Henderson, Tn., Kevin of Manchester, and David and his wife Cheryl Ann of Henderson, Tn.; 10 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
He was an Army Combat Veteran having served in WW II; where he received the Bronze Star among other medals. After 20 years he retired and moved back to Manchester. He worked as a skilled mechanic (Moe the pro!) and had his own business. He was in the choir at St. Raphael's, was a member in the Alhambra and the Knights of Columbus, loved to go to his camp where he enjoyed fishing and playing cards with his family. He was always a very loving husband and father.
Calling hours will be on Sunday, Nov. 4th from 3-6 at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium located at 243 Hanover St, Manchester, NH. A church service will be held at St. Raphael's on Nov. 5th at 10 a.m. with a luncheon following. A military burial with honors will take place at 3 p.m. at the Veteran's Cemetery in Boscawen.
