MAURICE M. DEZAN
WOODSVILLE, NH Maurice M. Dezan, age 84, passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2006 at the Grafton County Nursing Home in North Haverhill, NH after a 13 year battle with emphysema and the last 4 years with Parkinsons.
Maurice was born on May 13, 1921, a son to Francis and Louise (Lunderville) Dezan in Charleston, VT.
Maurice was employed by the Lisbon Wire Mill for several years.
Surviving family members include his wife of 60 years, Viola (Hannux) Dezan of Woodsville, NH; two daughters, Suzanne and husband, Robert Placey of Lisbon, NH, Brenda and husband, Michael Wisz of New York; two grandsons, Scott Placey of Maine and Robert M. Placey of Lisbon; two great-granddaughters, Kelsea Placey of Lisbon and Breanna Placey of Conway; one brother, Clayton Dezan of Franconia; two sisters, Beatrice Gardell of St. Catherines, Ontario, Canada, and Viola Rheaume of Milan, NH; and several nieces and nephews.
SERVICES A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at the Pillsbury Funeral Home Lisbon Chapel, 77 South Main Street, Lisbon, NH, with Rev. Lyn Winter officiating. Burial will be in the Grove Hill Cemetery in the spring.
