Maurice L. Duquette, 71, of Manchester died unexpectedly on March 30, 2006 at Catholic Medical Center.<br><br>Maurice was born on January 16, 1935 in Manchester the son of Joseph and Dorothy (Perris) Duquette. He had previously been employed at Evangeline Shoe Company in Manchester for 14 years where he worked as a shipper. He retired in 1994 from Raytheon Electronics after spending 24 years in shipping and receiving. He was involved in theatre, music, and the opera and was an active member of the Metropolitan Oprah Guild of New York as well as a member of the Kennedy Center for the Arts. He was a Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots fan and was an avid cyclist. Maurice also appreciated fine dining. He was a dedicated husband and brother. He was a former parishioner of St. Augustin Church. His loving wife, Aurore M. (Deziel) Duquette predeceased him on February 16, 1989.<br><br>Family members include; three brothers, Roger A. Duquette of Manchester, Raymond A. Duquette of Van Buren, Arkansas and Joseph M. Duquette of Manchester; one sister, Claire J. Fisher of Concord; several nieces, nephews, and cousins as well as great nieces and great nephews.<br><br>Calling hours will be Sunday from 2:00 until 4:00 PM and 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover Street. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday morning at 10 oclock at St. Catherine Church with interment to follow in Mt.
