Maurice A. Gagnon

Maurice A. Gagnon, age 93, of Manchester, NH died March 16, 2009 at the Catholic Medical Center. He was the husband of Sophie (Marozenka) Gagnon. He was born May 8, 1915 in Manchester, NH, son of the late Domicile and Ameline (Duhamel) Gagnon. Maurice was a life long resident of Manchester, NH. He retired from New Hampshire Fires Insurance after many years of service. Maurice was a long time parishioner of St. Jeans Church. His hobbies included gardening. Besides his wife, he is survived by a son: Roland Gagnon of Port Orange, FL; a daughter: Jeannette Buckley of Manchester, NH; 6 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews. Calling Hours are at the Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester on Friday, March 20 from 6-7PM. A Funeral Service will be held at 7:00pm in the funeral home. Burial will be held at a later date at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Manchester. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Masonic Home, 815 Beech St., Manchester, NH 03104 or to the charity of one's choice.
