Maurice Gregoire, 84, of 273 Merrimack Street, died January 6, 2004, at the Elliot Hospital. He was born in Manchester, NH on September 25, 1920, the son of the late Oscar and Agnes (Provencher) Gregoire and had been a resident of this area. Maurice was a decorated WW II Army Veteran and was a survivor of Battle of the Bulge. He belonged to the American Legion Post 79 and was the widower of Irene (Richard) Gregoire who died in 1979. Family members include a son Richard Gregoire of Manchester, four daughters Joan Vallee of Manchester, Maureen Schneider of Oregon, Denise Roy of Manchester, NH and Linda Robbins of Center Barnstead, NH, nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren, a brother Gerard Gregoire of Manchester, NH, two sisters, Alice Glynn of Manchester, NH and Yvonne Corey of Mexico, several nieces, nephews and cousins. SERVICES: A one hour Memorial Reception will be held at the Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium Chapel, 243 Hanover Street, Friday morning from 10 to 11 O'Clock with the service immediately following at 11 O'Clock in the funeral home chapel.
