Maurice A. St. Onge, 71, of Manchester died suddenly January 30, 2005 at Catholic Medical Center. Mr. St. Onge was born on June 4, 1933 in Manchester, the son of the late Emile and Corrinne (Demers) St. Onge. He was a US Marine veteran who served during the Korean Conflict. After three years of service and achieving the rank of Staff Sergeant, Maurice returned home. He worked for Hood Dairy and Genest Bakery in Manchester and eventually retired from Prevue Products. Mr. St. Onge was a devoted parishioner of St. Marie Church, volunteering his time on Saturdays to tend to the custodian needs of the church. Mr. St. Onge was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather and will be greatly missed. Family members include; his wife of 47 years, Therese (Vallee) St. Onge; two sons, Paul St. Onge and Ray St. Onge both of Manchester; two daughters, Claire St. Onge and Linda Witkowski both of Manchester; seven grandchildren; one great grandson; two brothers, Richard St. Onge of Goffstown and Leo St. Onge of Prince Edward Island; one sister, Sister Corrinne St. Onge of New Jersey; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Roger St. Onge and by one sister, Florence Farnsworth. N HIS LIFE: Mr. St. Onge had seven grandchildren, James St. Onge, Cynthia St. Onge, Raymond St. Onge Jr., Natahsha St. Onge, Cathy St. Onge, Markie Witkowski, and Kierra Witkowski and one great grandson, Jacob St. Onge. Calling hours will be Wednesday, February 2nd from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Avenue in Manchester. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:00 AM at Ste. Marie Church will burial to follow in Mt. Calvary.
