Maurice Paquette

Maurice Anthony Paquette, 78, of Manchester, NH, passed away at home on March 6, 2023. Born in Claremont, NH on March 29, 1944, he was the son of the late Lucien and Blanche (Foisy) Paquette. He shared 42 years of marriage with his wife, Joyce (Whittaker) Paquette.

Maurice attended Central High School in Manchester, NH. He proudly served in the New Hampshire National Guard from August 1964 – July 1970. He loved to spend time outdoors, traveling with his wife, playing golf, going hiking, kayaking, and mowing the lawn. He enjoyed fantasy football, watching sports, and telling a good joke. His greatest pastime was being with family, especially with his loving wife, Joyce.

Maurice is survived by his wife, Joyce Paquette of Manchester, NH; his son, Jason Paquette of Manchester, NH; his daughters, Jackie Moore and her husband Michael of Hillsboro, NH, Cathy Noiles of Milford, NH, Lisa Moores of Grand Junction, CO, Cathy Paquette Wietecha and her husband Matt of Manchester, NH, Sandra Caron and her husband Roger of Manchester, NH, and Amanda Rae of Chester, NH; as well as 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his in-laws, Carroll and Anita Whittaker.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 10^th from 4-6PM followed by a funeral service at 6PM at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH. The 6PM funeral service will be livestreamed at https://phaneuf.net/streaming

He will be laid to rest at Mount Calvary Cemetery at a later date.
