Maurice J. Pellerin, 85, formerly of 412 Coolidge Avenue, died December 18, 2000, at St. Teresa Manor. He was born in Manchester on September 27, 1915, the son Severe and Aldea (Plourde) Pellerin and had been a lifelong resident of the Queen City. He was a W.W. II Army veteran, was a former State Commander and belonged to the Catholic War Veterans Post # 1749. Maurice was a former employee of City Fuel, a parishioner of Ste. Marie Church and served as a Eucharistic Minister for that parish for over 10 years and was a member and past president of the League of Sacred Heart. He also belonged to the League of 1000 Men of the Precious Blood Monastery. Family members include his son, George Pellerin of Marlborough, Ma., three grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. SERVICES: Calling hours are at the Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 250 Coolidge AVenue, Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. A Mass of Chrisitian Burial will be celebrated Thursday morning at 10 o'clock in Ste. Marie Church. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
