Melvina E. Springer, age 77 passed away Friday Aug. 3, 2012 at the Holton Home in Brattleboro. Melvina was born in Greenfield, MA March 25, 1935.
Melvina was a homemaker and had worked as a Nurses Aid. One of her favorite hobbies was playing Bingo.
Melvina is survived by her two sons, Thomas Stockwell of Douglas, WY and Richard Stockwell of Putney, two daughters, Gladys Barlow and Marianne Rice both of Putney, one sister, Florence Gadway of Tulsa, OK and one brother Rodger Trerice of Rocky Hill, CT. Also surviving are several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to a time of visitation at the Ker-Westerlund funeral home, 57 High St. Brattleboro on Thursday Aug.9,2012 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM where a prayer service will be conducted at 6:30 PM.
