Mia Francesca Laberge
Mia Francesca Laberge, 20, of Merrimack, passed away on January 9, 2019 at Catholic Medical Center.
She was born in Hartford, CT on June 4, 1998, the daughter of Lynne (LaTorre) Laberge and the late Thomas Francis Laberge. Mia's love of animals was evident in the four cats, one dog, and bird she rescued. She had a passion for expressing her creativity through her tattoos and traveling the world with her late fiancé, Drew Ploss, also of Merrimack.
Mia was beautiful inside and out. She was fiery, intelligent, sensitive, and exceptional in her free, animal-loving, rebellious style. She was also stormy and struggled but still lived every day to its fullest.
Family members include her brother, Maslin Laberge and sister, Marly Laberge both of Merrimack; her maternal grandparents, Benedict and Ellie LaTorre of Madison, CT; her paternal grandparents, Charles and Babbette Laberge of Wilbraham, MA; and many loving Uncles, Aunts and Cousins.
A memorial gathering will take place on this Sunday, January 13th at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover St., Manchester, NH from 2 to 4 PM with a service to follow in the funeral home at 4:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mia's memory to the National Alliance on Mental Illness online at www.nami.org.
