Michael Daniel Cannata Jr. of Deerfield, passed away at High Point House in Haverhill, MA on June 16, 2021, at the age of 76.

Born on February 9, 1945 in Dedham, M.A., Michael was the second of three children to Michael D. and Ann (Tkachuk) Cannata, Sr. Michael graduated from Northeastern University with a Master's in Business Administration and a Master's of Science in Electrical Engineering. Over the course of his accomplished career, Michael specialized in investigations of safety, reliability, and implementation of public policy in the electric and gas industries; unit and system outage causes; and electric utility operations, planning and design. Michael served as the Director of several departments within the Public Service Company of New Hampshire (PSNH), the Chief Engineer for the New Hampshire Public Utilities Commission (PUC), and Lead Consultant, Investigator and Advisor for numerous consulting agencies.

Over the course of several decades, Michael created a sustainable homestead.
