Michael Chandonnet
Manchester, NHâMichael Chandonnet, 49, of Bedford, NH, passed away on October 15, 2014 at Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH, after fighting a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Manchester, NH on January 5, 1965 and was the son of the Gerard and Frances (Sufat) Chandonnet. He was raised and educated in Manchester.
Michael was an Engineer Technician and worked for BAE in Nashua, NH. He will be remembered for being a great dad who was passionate about hockey; he was an avid Bruin's fan. Michael also cherished skating and fishing with his son, walking in the woods and sharing funny stories with his daughter, hunting, playing golf and watching birds. He was an outdoorsman who will be missed by many good friends and family members.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his children, Meaghan and Ben and their mother, Allison Smith, of Bedford, his brothers, David Chandonnet of Franconia and Stephen Chandonnet of Hooksett, his girlfriend, Ellen Cavanaugh of Harvard, MA and many nieces and nephews.
A Life Celebration will be held on October 17, 2014 from 4pm to 7pm with a service starting at 6pm at Phaneuf Funeral Home 243 Hanover Street in Manchester. Burial will be private.
