With broken hearts, we announce our beloved son and brother, Michael "Mike" Anthony D'Antoni, passed away, too soon, on Friday, May 17, 2019.
Born in Sacramento, California on August 15, 1990, he is the son of Thomas and Gayle (Bourque) D'Antoni.
A loving son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, mentor, and dear friend, Mike's family was paramount in his life. He cherished time spent with family, especially his numerous cousins. "Chef Mikey" was passionate about cooking dinners for his buddies in Quincy and especially enjoyed creating Thanksgiving dinner at Aunt Gloria and Uncle Wally's. Exploring new restaurants also brought Mike joy.
Mike had a generous heart and was always willing to lend a helping hand. As a Sober House Manager, Mike inspired individuals to find the strength to overcome addiction. His Quincy buddies describe him as hard working, patient, and positive.
Known for his artful tattoos, Mike was able to express himself through an array of body art. His affinity for music spanned every genre, from Nirvana to Frank Sinatra. In his spare time, he enjoyed writing, reading, and exploring outdoors, be it walking around the city or discovering nature. Mike was often referred to as a shoe diva, you weren't surprised when every time you saw him, he had a new pair. Mike will be best remembered for his strength of character, sense of humor, willpower, and love of family. Mike touched countless lives and he will forever hold a special place in many hearts.
In addition to his parents, Mike is survived by his sister, Natalee D'Antoni and partner Patrick Belanger of Manchester; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family and friends.
