Michael D. Gunski, Sr., 58, of 20 Heritage Dr., Bedford, NH died September 16, 2001 at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, NH. He was born in Superior, WI, on January 21, 1943, the son of Mabel (Van Holbeck) Gunski and the late Daniel Gunski and had lived in Goffstown, prior to moving to Bedford in 1983. He was a United States Navy Veteran and was a member of the American Legion, Sweeney Post #2. He was President and Founder of Northland Tool and Electronics, Inc., a company he founded in Bedford in 1979. He was a member of the Bedford Lions Club, the State of NH 100 Club and was a parishioner of St. Elizabeth Seton Church. Family members include his wife, Sandra (Reed) Gunski; his mother of Superior, WI; three sons, Michael Joseph Gunski and his wife Arlene of San Jose, CA; Michael D. Gunski, Jr. and his wife Lisa of Goffstown; Gergory D. Gunski and his wife Angela of Pontiac, IL; three daughters, Paul (Corrine) St. Onge of Goffstown; Mrs. Henry (Heidi) Sliwerski of Bedford; Brianna Gunski of Bedford; fifteen grandchildren; a brother, Daniel Gunski of Brainerd, MN; two sisters, Mrs. Tom (Diane) Brennan of Iron River, WI; Mrs. Eugene (Joanne) Blomfelt of Superior, WI; and many nephews, nieces and cousins. Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover St., on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday morning at 10:00 in St. Elizabeth Seton Church. Burial will follow in St. Joseph cemetery.
